Il Italian metalworking sector is going through a phase of growth and evolution, in which theattention to innovation and the development of new ideas is at the heart of company conversations and strategies.
For this reason we thought we would conduct a survey* between production managers, workshop leaders e commercial managers with the purpose of understand in what way metalworking companies are crossing this phase of evolution in the sector.
Within the survey, some participants underlined how, to achieve real changes, it is necessary to create a cohesive group between operators and employers.
Bring together workshop managers and operators!!!! From there the idea comes true!
Indeed, a collaboration-oriented approach between employees and managers, it can represent a great innovation in the Italian metalworking sector. However,, there are also those who believe that the lack of meritocracy within some work environments, disincentives operators from participating actively to development of a technology more design.
We carry on with "WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE THIS WAY!"......and I'll tell you that it's better this way......every change is a bloodbath!! In the sense that nothing happens; I understand well what I have to do......get to retirement by doing as little as possible because there is no meritocracy anyway.....so I adapt!
To involve employees in the processes of corporate growth and innovation, it is therefore necessary to create a working environment in which value is given to the commitment and results obtained by the individual.
What clearly emerges from this survey is that a metalworking company that truly wants to innovate must be open to change, ready to invest in human resources and support dialogue between workshop managers, production managers and operators. The creation of a new one synergy between operators and the key for best face the emerging challenges of the market e concretize the potential of growth ofcompany metalworking.
